The greatest challenge is that the full-length roll mat must perfectly fit the pre-bounded training area. If gaps, unevenness, or inconsistent rebound occur at the edges, trainees moving near the perimeter could easily risk ankle injuries or loss of balance. Therefore, this is not a standard mat installation but a custom project with strict requirements on roll mat dimensions, cutting precision, and overall fit.
Considering the dojo’s space constraints, we implemented a custom Roll Out Mat solution for precise layout planning. During the sizing stage, the mat was precisely measured and planned to cover the training area completely, with neither excess nor shortfall. After installation, the edges are clean, requiring no additional trimming, with no wrinkles or gaps. Visually, the Chinese “战士” (Warrior) logo is custom-placed at the center, integrating seamlessly with the mat surface.
