QT MAT products are usually packed in plastic bags. When opening the package, use box cutters or sharp tools carefully to avoid scratching the PVC surface.

If you purchased multiple mats for connecting, adjust them by hand — do not step or kick them into alignment. Our roll-out mats are made from PVC laminated with high-density foam, and improper force can cause surface damage.
When rolling up, do not pull the Velcro too hard, as this may cause it to peel off. Hold both edges of the mat with your hands and gently detach the Velcro instead.

After each use, it’s best to perform a light cleaning, and do a deeper cleaning 1–2 times per week. Sweat and dust can accumulate on the surface, leading to bacterial growth. Regular cleaning helps maintain hygiene and prolong the mat’s life. You can use a damp cleaning solution, spray lightly, and allow it to air dry completely.
For deep cleaning: sweep or vacuum the surface first; wipe with a neutral detergent and soft cloth; let it dry completely before rolling it up.
Always roll with the PVC surface facing inward. Make sure the mat is completely dry before rolling — moisture can cause mold. Roll smoothly from one end, keeping alignment. If it ends up cone-shaped, stand it upright and shake gently. Store in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
Do not wear shoes or bring sharp objects onto the mat; avoid dragging heavy equipment across the surface; avoid using in damp environments for long periods to prevent aging or mold.
Check regularly for small cracks, wear, or separation; inspect the underside for moisture and keep it ventilated.
With proper daily maintenance and usage, your roll-out mat will stay clean, safe, and durable for years. From unpacking to cleaning, storage to inspection — every step counts toward protecting your mat.
QT Mat cleans and safely packages all mats before shipping. Proper care ensures your roll-out mat can last 5–7 years or even longer.
